    Hello - New to forum

Hello - this I Judy and I have a 5 month old blue dane named Blu (original, ha ha ha)  I am fighting a battle with allergies with this puppy... so far he is allergic to Wheat and dairy... in order to figure it out - several months ago I started feeding him only Chicken, then chicken and rice then added green beans and carrots... if he gets into the other dogs kibble he breaks out something awful I gave him some dairy and he broke out again...I am back to the rice and chicken and veggies again... he also can eat apples and bananas - if any one has any suggestions about allergies, I would welcome the input.

One other probelm, over the last week or so, Mr. Blu has decided that other dogs poo is a treat and he has been sneaking it into the house - he even brings themto us as "gifts" ... soes anyone know why and also how to stop this behaviour... "no" doesn't have any affect on this as of yet!!

    thanx --  Judy

Hi Judy, Welcome to the forum. There is a product by Solid Gold called  SEP(stop eatting poop) and it works quite well. You sprinkle some on their food and it makes it distastful to them. I t takes awhile, but usually works in time. as for allergies, we hava a dal with allergies to so many things--it's very frustrating.I've tried so many foods and so far, now I'm om Timberwolf ocean blue, very expensive, but worth it if it works She seems much less itchy and red. Benedryl tabs are a big help-our dal is 75# and I give her 3-4 tablets 3x a day if she's really bad. I t seems with allergies, it's a never ending thing. Tea tree oil also helps-a few drops in water in a spray bottle and spray them down and wipe off-it helps itching.      You have to find what works best for your dog, as every dog is differant.  Theirs also special shampoos for sensitive skin.     Good luck!
