Wow! That looks great. Happy holidays. I am going to bookmark the link. You never know when DH will decide to take some vacation time. We're over the 5 yr mark already. (cry) 

That resort looks wonderful and I've bookmarked it too. I've been trying to talk DH into going to Mexico for a few yrs now. I think a place like that would be enough to sway him. 

i love the idea of hammocks on the balcony! We found it on one of the websites for like 1300/person so it's not too bad. plus, food and drinks and non-motorized water craft are free!

 Looks great, no beach tough, i'm going back to Cancun in april

oh my gosh! it doesn't have a beach!!!!! good thing we haven't booked it yet.

espencer- where do you stay in cancun? it's an option for us, but i've already been there. we looked at aqua cancun, riu palace, and moon palace. we also like the reef atlantis in nassau.

this is getting stressful

Isn't there a Palace resort on the Playa del Carmen?  South of Cancun - gorgeous beaches.......

this is getting stressful

I lived in Cancun for 15 years, i know 99% of the hotels there, aqua Cancun is kind of sucky hehe, riu palace is nice and is close to everything, i worked in moon palace for 3 months, that hotel is beautiful but the beach is not as great and is outside Cancun
