Goodbye Flapjack....

    Goodbye Flapjack....

    You will be missed.

He didn't make it. But he was in my arms till the end. He died knowing the feel of loving hands.

It's really really hard right now. I will post a tribute to him in the rainbow bridge section within a couple days.

Aww Angela, I'm so sorry.  But he was LOVED!!! And bless his heart, he went BOUNCING over that Bridge, skidded to a stop at the bottom and said to all those waiting for him "SHE LOVED ME -- SHE LOVED ME SO MUCH SHE HELD ME ALL THE WAY!!! I got **REAL** love!!!!"

And so many, many there waiting knew ***exactly*** what he meant, and they just stood there and sagely nodded their heads and waited for him to settle enough to tell them the **whole** story!!

    I'm so sorry, Angela.

I know that you did everything that you could for Flapjack, & it is nice that he crossed over the bridge in your arms.

I'm so sorry, Angela...I know that anguish of putting a dog through surgery and knowing they may not come out of it.  Winnie will be watching for her hound friend.  Hugs to you for making his last year a loved one.

I am sorry :( But I know he is definitely in a better place knowing that you loved him greatly.

He died knowing he was loved. What if he had passed while still on a chain in a back yard.    You will always know his last momnths were happy and that counts for an awful lot.
