Awesome news -- Trixie has been FOUND OK!!

    TEAR JERKER W/HAPPY ENDING!!!!

I'm SO glad I'm wrong on this one -- I posted a little item in the Rainbow Bridge section about a little poodle-mix named Trixie who adamantly woke her owners to warn them of the impending tornado earlier this week.  She just wouldn't take 'no' for an answer and woke them early enough so that the owner's sister (or some extended family) could join them in THEIR trailer, and then the twister struck immediately, but in the process the trailer was literally torn apart and the humans were clinging to the support beams under the floor to stay inside.  Trixie was sucked out of the trailer.

Folks this one truly devastated me -- BUT as capricious as tornados are, the Alpha of all Alphas somehow intervened here!  TRIXIE IS FOUND and she's OK!!!

This is from a Friday evening blog I didn't find yesterday

[linkhttp://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/.shared/image.html?/photos/uncategorized/znelliest.jpg] [/link] Seventy-five-year-old Nellie Byrd is reunited with her dog, Trixie, in front of what is left of her doublewide home in the Lake Mack area of Lake County where a tornado struck early Friday.  The dog was missing for a while after the storms hit. At least 19 people have died as a result of the tornadoes that cut across Central Florida before dawn.

I'm just so tickled.  My husband and I were just this morning talking about how incredibly capricious these storms can be.  In the ones that hit Cent. FL 8-9 years ago I remember well the story of a baby who had been torn from under her daddy's hands out of her crib (mattress and all).  But hours later she was found TOTALLY ok, but wedged in that mattress in the top of a huge tree a couple of miles from where the wind had taken her.

Strange stuff does happen (thankfully!) but gosh, I wish Trixie could talk.  Whatta story!!
