My dog is the one who looks like he might end up missing an ear! Brought him home (both ears intact!) and I think he'll sleep for hours now! editing to try and imbed the photo in the message. • Mookies Mom Posted : 2/2/2007 10:02:36 AM Glenda, If you're near where I think you are (Sleeping Bear??) than I don't blame you for being freaked out by the snakes. There are more than just your garden variety in that area. Last summer we were up there on a painting/biking expedition and while out on our bikes, we ran across a rattlesnake. Thank goodness someone else had run over it on their bike, and not me. I will say though, it completely freaked me out for traipsing around with my backpack and easel for the rest of the weekend!
