    Bad bad doggie Mom...

I have no clue how I did this for so long...but I've been feeding Biscotti from Winnie's dish...  I put the wrong one away!   They are both blue ceramic with a dog design, but one is dark blue and the other light blue.  And I was attributing her unenthusiastic eating habits (which is not that uncommon for her, but has been more so lately) to missing Winnie.  They go in the dishwasher regularly, but I'm thinking now that she knew it wasn't hers...who says dogs aren't smart?

Marty, that's incredible, but I guess it makes sense.  I've read things about how a dog can smell the tiniest trace of something, even months after it was there.  Either that, or there's something else that makes the dishes unique.  I didn't think that dogs could distinguish colors.  But somehow Biscotti knew that dish was Winnie's, and out of respect for her, she's hesitant to eat from it.  Maybe Winnie had a hand in your mixing them up because she wanted to still be part of meal time somehow.
