I just got a puppy fix!!!!!

A coworker's husband just brought in their 10-week old yellow Lab pup!!! His name is Oakley. I refrained from asking any questions about where they got him (I just frankly don't want to know if they did the petstore or BYB thing) but he was SOOOO cute! He let all of us pet him (his Daddy held him so that he wouldn't get too excited and go wee on the floor) and he started to make cute little puppy noises toward the end. He licked my nose with his cute little gentle tongue. ARGH! WHAT A CUTIE!!!

Just had to share that!

How sweet! I'm jealous, too. I got both of my labs when they were tiny guys and I do miss lab puppies. I don't miss cleaning up after them (that was awful) so if you have a chance to play with someone else's puppy, go for it! That way, you get the fix without having to have the responsibility to clean up poop and pee![

I too am enjoying a "puppy fix". We have a 13 week old golden retriever Teddi, she came to live with us on 12/10. I am so happy to have a puppy. Sure they are alot of work, but to see the world through unspoiled eyes is worth every thing!

I really want to post pictures, I don't have a photobucket or anything yet as soon as I figure this stuff out I will post. Gina your black lab is beautiful! I have a black lab too I plan to have lab (preferrably black) and golden with me for the rest of my life. I love these two breeds. I love other breeds too and mixes, heck I love dogs, but labs and goldens just make my heart happy.
