I had to keep my friend's Rottweiler "Tuffy" for two weeks because his owner is in jail - and will be for a while.
The owner's family and I made dozens of phone calls and posted an ad in the local paper to find "Tuffy" a home.
"Tuffy" is the most loveable, friendly, mild-tempered Rottweiler you'd ever want to meet.
Well, only one hour before he was pound bound (local humane society) we got a call from a young lady - whose uncle has rotweillers - and who wanted one badly for her home and child (she will not leave the 4 y.o. son alone with Tuffy).
Tuffy has spent two nights in her bed - and loves to play with her kid - and is especially gentle to the young boy.
This proves with a little human work and compassion - a wonderful dog can find a wonderful home.[
