I want to thank the people on this forum for giving me so much info on getting a dog and raising a dog. I`ve had dogs all my life but never got any info like on this forum. Dog food, training, ect. I got Molly from a byb. I didn`t know when I got her it was the wrong place to get her. I got on the forum after I got her. I thought the ads in the papers were good breeders. Well so far Molly is a healthy dog. Shes 7 months old now. I just found out that two friends of mine got two puppies from a byb breeder from the same

lace (not where I got Molly from though) and they both ended up with parvo. One vet bill was 1000.00 as they didn`t know what the pups problem was and had many tests done on him.. The cost on the other pup is unknown at this time as he just got home (bill coming in the mail). They both paid 400.00 each for the pups. One pup is already up to $1400.00 and the little pup is only 3 and 1/2 months old. I now know now how things can go wrong with a byb. My next pup will be from a shelter or a reputable breeder. I must say long live my little Molly and continue to be healthy. If not I will do what ever it takes to have a healthy Molly. She is family now not just a dog. Dog - HUH she our daughter - but has the manners of a dog. Thanks god don`t need another teenager in the house.
