Well today was Winstons first day of school. He is in a class with a dozen or other dogs between the ages of 5 and 12 months. The Vizsla in Winston really came out today . . . he was by far the most hyperactive dog in the class. He did okay today . . . my wife and I both went and he was responding to his name and to sit and down quite reliably. Walking around the room however was a disaster. We covered a LOT this evening, but I think it was to give the instructors and idea of where all the dogs are at.
So far I'm pleased . . . . the class is taught by volunteers from the local kennel club. Our class happens to have two instructors who are both the regional CGC evaluators.
Here's a picture of Winston all ready for his first day of school!
