Amazing Book Find at PETCO!!

So, I was using my lunch break to shop for my dogs again, instead of eat (am I the only one who does this?), and I was taking a stroll around PetCo, looking for some kind of equivalent to to Buster Cube (found nothing at all), when I spotted something I never thought I'd see on the shelf of one of these stores - ONE SINGLE COPY of Pat Miller's "The Power of Positive Dog Training"! I couldn't help it, I had to snag it up... what can be better than finding a book on your wish list, without even having to pay shipping? >^__________^<

Wow, I never would have thought you would find it there! I was surprised - a HUGE borders by my parents had that, the other end of the leash and culture clash - but only one of each. I ended up using a giftcard to buy most of the books I was looking for and now have months worth of dog and other books to read.

Don't you love not paying shipping? I'm the fool that gets suckered in every time something says "spend xxxxx more and get free shipping" and end up spending double what I wanted.....

Pat Miller will be at the Pet Expo here at the end of the month. I will probably go see her speak.

I've seen The Power of Positive Dog Training at the PetCos here too, though I actually got it out of our library. They have their training books sort of set aside from the regular "Your Dog's Breed Here For Dummies" book section, and I frequently see some pretty high quality books there.

I have $30 at Borders and $25 at Barnes and Noble (both within walking distance of my house--how I love living in the city!) and I'm still scheming about what I want to do with them.
