Oh how exciting, 3 pups may have a permanent home.  Thank you, and your parents, for saving them.  What about the GSD, any hope of a new home?

The GSD is a little trickier, he is about 4-5 months old, food & dog agressive, and very fearfull.  He will try to bite without provocation.  Normally, this would mean he is a euthanasia case, but one of our kennel helpers, & I would both like to see this dog succeed.  So we have decided to see what kind of progress we can make in 2 weeks.  He will come home with me in the evenings & weekends, and will go to work with me during the day so that my kennel helper can spend time with him during work hours.  I am hopeful that he will turn around, but I don't want to get my hopes up to high, just in case it doesn't work out.

Awww, I'll be praying real hard!!  I hope he progresses, I'd hate to see him euthanized.  Thanks for, at least, trying.  Here, maybe this will help:

Well, we have made it through the first week of January with a substantial number of dogs/pups brought in. We managed to survive, although we are completely full. We have dogs/pups shoved in every last corner of the shelter until another transport leaves on the 11th. I like working for the city shelter but sometimes I wish we could turn people away; since we are open admission, we get all the dogs/pups from our county, plus the surrounding counties who tell their residents that their shelters are too full. Let's hope for a s-l-o-w couple of days this week...
