I would assume we're talking border collies? If that is the case, yes, you can register your dog with AKC (full registration) if she's registered ABCA. I forget the exact process but if you call or email AKC they can tell you what you need to do. You'll need to include the pedigree, pictures of her (side and front shot) and I think that's about it. ABCA borders and ISDS borders (whelped in UK) are eligible for full registration with AKC.
Keep in mind that if you finish your girl's AKC conformation championship, ABCA will pull her ABCA registration. I finished my working bcs championship just for fun and received the letter from ABCA a few months later, telling me that she was no longer registered with their organization. It's not a big deal to me, as we can still run in stockdog trials and her kids continue to run in stockdog trials, etc.
Finishing a working bred bc is not easy (usually), but we had fun doing it!
