    Question regarding Siberian huskys...

Recently we have noticed that the Husky constantly has his mouth open with his tongue sticking out and occasionally makes a noise like he is gasping for air. Is this normal for huskies? Any help would be greatly apperciated. Thanks!

Since we can't hear or see this, I'm going to say that if it concerns you, you should ask your vet.

I agree- this could be signs of laryngeal paralysis or any other breathing disorder.  The only way to tell is to see a vet.

huskys tend to pant more if inside ,and its warm, because thier coats are designed to keep in the heat...i am constantly bringing freshwater and taking them outside when i have them in for any long periods..i have a cool room for them to be in if they get too hot..does his tounge look more swollen or bigger thsan normal..?

If you havnt had the dog inside,or in a warmer, drier environment, than it maybe just normal panting..

when i run mine in temps over 20 degrees F,they pant like crazy, and need constant hydration before and after a workout..

I wouldnt worry excessively, but might get him to a vet for a regular health check as soon as i could...
