thanks guys
(i thought i posted this in everything and anything...but anyway...)
I think back to the first few days when we found her...we were so anxious that someone might show up and claim her...i am sure there are many more of you out there who went through that too..
She was adopted out 3 times before we found her...the first adoption didnt work because of her seperation anxiety...the second didnt work for her destructiveness(not excersized is my bet)...and the third couple left her alone with thier 8 year old kid,and came back in and the kid was criing.(she was bought back the same day)..imagine that..because she is a good looking girl,i think that that led to her going into the wrong homes..the people didnt realize the "work"that these huskies need to do to be happy and content..
so after all these adoptions, they decided to put her to sleep...we showed up the day before she was scheduled to be put down..we originally went to see a golden retriever(who was adopted out before we got there)and we saw this girl...she was so calm in her kennel, and my wife Rebecca fell in love twith her right off..
We filled out the papers, waited a couple days, visited every day till we could get her home, and fianally were able to bring her home...she bonded with my wife right off,and she wasnt really interested in me at all(which kind of killed me inside)lol
So it was, that my wife started becomming heavily involved with her Christmas time baking for her baking business, and that is when i started running her and playing with her.not long after i got us a bike rig,and we started running and riding together...She became so bonded to me in a couple months that now she is mostly my girl
anyway,i cant imagine life without her now...and i do know that all of us here know that feeling..
