The lundehund is in my dog breed book....
Interesting, my book says that the dog can close its ears to protect its ear passages from dripping water in caves....

I love those little dogs. And they're so bizarre. They can bend their heads back to touch their spine.

I've always loved them ever since I read about them in my dog books way back in the day...they're so beautiful and so unique!  Yes, I believe they can fold their ears over to make an almost watertight seal, bend their heads back to touch their spine, rotate their legs out almost horizontal to their body, and they have 6 toes on each foot.  I just think they are SO cool!

I read about these dogs a while back (months before we got Copper).  I always thought they were cool.  They are just so unique!  I think that's why I like them so much!

That's such an interesting dog. Makes me think if it really is a dog, or a hybrid-thing of an owl-gymnast. I think I have seen a rare-breeds book with these dogs in them, but I do not remember any of the features. sounds like a great dog.

Yes, they are so bizzare, I just had to tell you all.

Dogs must be really genitically mallable/adapatable. Unlike cats!
