The grunty noise small puppies make when you pick them up.
The way their tails vibrate on super high speed when they're nursing.
The tiny hysterically funny growls a 3 week old pup can make.
Watching my hounds run.
Their singing when it's dinnertime.
The big serious sigh a regnant Beagle makes when she lays down.
The special smell at the top of a puppies head.
The excitement in a litter when they start to recognize you when you come into the room.
 
I have puppies on the brain...big time haha!

- When Charlie grunts and groans in the morning
- That big puppy stretch when he is getting up from a long nap
- The look of his little hiney going side to side when his tail wags hard
- The look on his face when he is sleepy or is patiently waiting for his food

My absolute favorite is watching my dogs run, unadorned of any tethers, flying around with their ears flapping like the flying nun and the biggest smile dogly possible from ear to ear!
 
Seeing my dogs happy - yes they do express this emotion - and healthy.

I love taking my dogs to the beach more than just about anything. I love seeing Emma interact with other dogs (what Teenie does is not called interacting, it's called blind stupidity). I love sweet snuggles. I love doggy kisses. I love puppy breath (I've been known to walk into animal control and ask where the youngest litter is, so I can smell them), and clumsy puppy walking. I love dog feets and dog ears. I think I just really love dogs.

Dog related:
-Watching dogs play together without a care in the world.
-Teaching Balto something new, and seeing how fast he "gets" it.
-Taking the dogs out on nature trails and letting them be "wild."
-Curling up in bed on a cold night and letting the whole pack in bed with me.
-Puppy kisses, especially from Balto who RARELY gives kisses
-Soft, fat little puppy bellies
-Puppy breath

Non-dog-related
-Taking a road trip with no particular destination in mind
-Managing to have my camera with me to get a GREAT shot of something
-Running around barefoot
-Good food!
-Discovering new, interesting places to go

I love the sigh when they lay down in just the right spot.
I love doggie breath, puppy especially, but even regular old doggy breath.
I love the smell of the inside of Baileys ears.
I love to see Baileys zoomies, and to see her run full speed for as long as she likes.
I love when she howls at the window.
I love when I give Bailey a chip she cruches and smacks really loud, its the greatest thing ever, lol.
I love that DH loves dogs just as much as I do.

I love camping.
I love seafood boils.  Theyre a full day of friends and family and good food, its just perfect.
I love to laugh really hard.
I love to spend the day wandering in the french quarter looking at the art galleries and stuff.
I love shoe shopping.

I love spending the day in the sun on a boat, skiing and stuff.
I love buying things for other people.
I love thinking about all the stuff I love, lol.

Dog stuff I love:

The whole-body-wag,
 doggie yawns,
 the way they get crazy and run around after a bath,
how sweet they are with my kids,
the sound they make crunching up doggie bone treats.

Non-dog stuff:
watching my girls sleep in their carseats,
 the funny faces my little Lily makes,
 how generous my Emily is,
 laughing with my husband,
 our tiny little town,
 the mountains that separate us from the hubub of the DC suburbs,
the ocean,
wine & cheese & crackers and a good movie with my husband after the kids have      gone to bed
chocolate anything!

I like:
Watching Shadow and Jade sleeping together.
Watching Shadow run faster than the wind.
The shimmer of his colors in the afternoon light.
The way he lays his head on me, depending on his position.
 
Non pet:
Being married.
Being with my wife on a day where we have no schedule and just do whatever, whenever. Sometimes, we'll watch a "Murder, She Wrote" marathon, other times, we rent a couple of movies and watch that. Or go to German Deli.com, based in Southlake, and spend a bunch of money.
 
At 42, I can still hit the high note in "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen and "Dream On" by Aerosmith.
 
This forum, where I can share my love for animals, and specifically, dogs. I can talk endlessly about Shadow and it's par for the course, around here.
 
 

Grocery shopping with my BF (weird but true - we have fun)
Russell's doggie grin when he's having fun
The first day it smells like autumn... ditto spring!
When the pup rests his little head on my leg in bed
A good laugh, especially with my man...

i love:

-the grunting sound sydney makes when he is laying around
-when sydney gets the zoomies in the living room (a little destructive sometimes though)
-being licked on the face
-having a 75 lb lap dog
-amelia's happy bark
-amelia's curled up tail, especially when she carries it high (you know she is happy then)
-when amelia is in a super playful mood
-sydney's scaredy-cat bark (hard to describe but cute as hell)
-sydney's tough guy posturing (at least when he is safely inside the fence. he usually combines this with the bark above)

I love...

Hanging out with my kids and watching them learn new things everyday..and how goofy they can be.

The beach. It's a NEED of mine.

going to the tanning salon.

Going shopping when the store is almost empty. It just feels good.

Going out to eat.

when my husband acts like a retard. I just can't stop laughing. (He does it on purpose)

Puppies...c'mon who doesn't love puppies!

When Rupert gets so excited instead of just his tail wagging, his whole butt goes...then the whole body. It's a hoot.

my two year old when he dances. And might I add, the boy can dance!

driving with the sunroof open, windows down blasting my music and singing on the top of my lungs. I don't care who sees or hears me.

my christmas tree. It's pretty. And smells good!

Wax melts. My whole house smells like a bakery!

dog poop that is consistantly "formed"[]

.....amen to that....[]
....I love seeing Romeo run full speed at the park, with a smile on his face and his eyes so bright....making the most funniest and scariest sounds you have ever heard.
.....I love laying down on freshly cut grass with Romeo by my side belly up passed out asleep while I rub his tummy.
.....I love watching the sunset, full moon and sunrise with Romeo.
.....I love the way his breath smells ( a combo between mint/clove)
.....I absolutely melt when Romeo is laying down on me and rotates his head and looks up at me with so much love in his eyes that many times has brought tears to my eyes.
.....I love that my dog went from being so shy and scared from all the abuse he suffered before to being very confident and friendly.
.....I love going to the beach and watching Romeo try to catch some waves

I love the fact that he has brought me closer to my parents (and we were close before, but with Romeo around is so much easier to talk abouth things [&:])

My list could go on and on, but I will stop for now.

I've been hideously negative in the other thread, so I'll be positive now.

I love:

• Roxie and Trixie.  They are my world and keep me sane after bad days of dealing with the pet peeves in the other thread.
• Christmas and all it entails, even if it has been commercialized.
• University of Tennessee sports.  There's nothing like being in Neyland Stadium on a crisp autumn afternoon or being in Thompson-Boling Arena for a great basketball game.
• Summer nights, when the humidity has subsided a bit and I can breathe.  It's great to hang out on the patio and enjoy acceptable warmth.  Note: This is the only thing I like about summer.
• Spending the day with Roxie in the mountains.  Getting out of the city and into fresh air and beautiful scenery does a lot for us. 
  
• When Roxie lies on her back with her feet sticking up in the air. 
  
• When Roxie barks at a dog passing by our house in a tough way, knowing she's behind a fence.  []
• American Idol and how crazy it makes me from January through May.  I'm not thrilled with this year's winner, though.  What a joke.
• The Golden Girls.  It may be 20 years old, but I haven't watched a modern comedy with as much hilarity.
