• I got the call... SaraD Posted : 12/7/2006 8:35:07 AM Hello everyone. I got the call from a special kitty yesterday. She was a stray that her foster mom had humanely caught, gotten spayed, tested and vaccinated. Her foster mom is a true cat lover and had trapped her and her siblings. I spent over 3 hours at her house just talking to her about our love for cats. Besides adopting out these 3 kitties, she is owned by 6 herself.  After much discussion about a name, we had a quick naming ceremony this morning for our new furfriend. We tossed out Bear, Kodiak, Flame, and Brimstone, to name her Lady Amber of Waves of Grain; Amber for short.  She is a long hair tortie with the most amazing orange/yellow eyes. • jeano Posted : 12/7/2006 12:20:01 PM Gina, don't kill me but I think "Squid" fits her (from that picture)! LOL! I had a tortoise shell cat when I was a kid that I named Patches. My parents disappeared her after she had a litter of kittens. I used to play with her for hours and even tried to teach her tricks. Sara, enjoy your new, sweet kitty! I wish I wasn't so allergic right now! Kitties love me and I love them, but I'm in an allergic phase right now, darn it!
