Beware baking chocolate...

My aunts dog, Sophie just died about an hour ago... ate a bag of baking chocolate. Poor girl was only 7 years old. She was the mother of my first dog, Molly, and even though she was old she still acted like a puppy. My aunt didn't know baking chocolate was that dangerous, so didn't take her to the vet. =(

Chelsea please accept, and pass on my codolences on the loss of Sophie. That is so tragic. Thank you for the warning....it can't be stated too often. []

I'm so sorry. My aunt had a Chocolate Labrador Retriever that died, she was real old, though. Her name was Tootsie. They now own a beautiful Yellow Labrador Retriever named Daisy.

That is so sad, so tragic. Please convey condolences to your Aunt as well. There are a lot of poisonings and deaths this time of year, what with people baking for the holidays and more chocolate treats and candy around.
