• BEVOLASVEGAS Posted : 12/6/2006 1:08:57 AM I guess I'm so lucky all of my friends are dog people, so when we go to visit we just load the pack up and take them with us.  Luckily almost all of my friends dogs are well socialized and just view the visits as playtime.  I have noticed that since we moved from the apartment to the farm (boonies) our friends come with their dogs more than we go with our dogs.  I guess room to run counts for something.    I will state that I'd never pick a walk on the beach with the dogs over a day of shopping with the girls.  But i could see us dropping the dogs off at daycare so that we could pick them up and go to petsmart before returning home. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. Also my dad is totally not a dog person he thinks all dogs should be kept outside and that the end of it, so I've given up on talking to him about any of the dogs, my mom on the other hand is just like me she belives all animals are just like family, and are very fun and enjoyable to be with. Domestic ones, wild ones, even bees and beetles (but not yellow jackets)! As a kid I made friends where I could, LOL! I have people friends, too. As a professional musician and teacher, I'm a role model and find people asking me questions about dogs a lot. I-dog has been great for teaching me how to answer a lot of those questions. They respect that Sofia goes to work with me and is so well-behaved. (Lately she's been entertaining us during lessons by having WILD dog dreams, burfing in her sleep--you know, barking with her mouth closed--and doing wild doggy paws. []) I'd just die if something happend to Sofie. Sofie, my son, my boyfriend, Sofia's sister Athena.
