We have a new member of the family!

    hi all!!

I just thought I'd introduce the newest member of our college household (9 months outta the year). My room-mate's (who owns Oscar) parents got a dog from their friends. The dog was taken from an abusive situation and needed somewhere to recoop. They fell in love with him, and couldn't adopt him out (keep-em fairy was on their doorway!)
The household at my room-mate's parents house is very busy and stressful. So they decided to take him down to live with us.

Levi is very insecure. He trusts other dogs than he does people. He is very afraid of men and cars. If you look at him the wrong way he cowers. He's head-shy, and does not know his own size. When he's excited he will nip at your heels like a herding breed.

He loves to play with the other dogs, and our "pack" is doing very well. After a few initial scuffles, they are working it out nicely. He knows Oscar is the boss, and Daisy is a little fireball with teeth.

He will fit well into our little puppydog family.

    welcome to the pack :-)

When we got our first dog Lacey, whom came from a abusive home, she would hide, & nip at your heels. It took a very long time for her to trust us & open up out of her shell, she too was afraid of men! :-)

G'luck with your new dog, just need to train him, he needs to know not all people are bad.

Congrats [:)], he is a very handsome fellow. I don't think Goldens ever figure out how big they are.
