• calliecritturs Posted : 11/19/2006 7:17:58 PM Man that is a BAD puppy habit.  don't let him out in that area off leash -- because if they eat rocks you can wind up with a puppy with an intestinal obstruction.   The pup may be driven to it because it's lacking in minerals -- You might consider adding a good supplement to whatever you are feeding to see if it helps.  I would also spray a LOT of water on them to make sure there is no spray or chemical on there that the pup is somehow drawn to.    The puppy may also be teething -- so the puppy may be trying to chew rock to ease the teething pain.  Try a frozen washcloth - DO NOT leave unattended, but it may help assuage the teething pain.  You might try doing that just before a potty break and see if it helps reduce the rock eating. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
