• Motor went to the Bridge last night...... SaraD Posted : 11/15/2006 8:39:35 AM Motor, who was brought home yesterday morning, went to the Bridge sometime last night. Nothing seemed wrong with her when I put her in the bathroom last night. She went into her kitty bed and that is where I found her this morning. I am terribly shaken up. I have no idea what happened. She was spayed on Monday and she was fine, as far as I knew. She was drinking, eating, peeing and pooping. There was nothing she could get into in the bathroom. I was crying when I told Sebastian that his Motor went to the Bridge. I am crying now. This is so unfair. • SaraD Posted : 11/15/2006 9:21:38 AM Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. I am still in shock and thinking back if there were any signs that she was not ok. Nobody roughed with her. She was fine and happy when I put her to bed last night. My husband says she might have had internal bleeding that we didn't know about. I do not know. I was looking forward to many years with her. I keep blaming myself for doing this. Maybe if we didn't adopt her she would have been fine. I know that isn't true. No one could have forseen this. I am so devastated. It has been a long time since I have had to deal with a pet dying. The fact that it was a kitten, makes it oh so much harder. Sebastian asking if he could pet her again was heartwrenching. I still keep thinking what did I do? Chewie, my first thought when seeing her was "Oh god, no." I am doing my best not to second guess the adoption. She got the best cat bed in the house. Nobody wanted it but her.  Motor was such a sweet kitten. She was always purring and wanting loving. I know that she got loving, food, water, and a warm, soft, cushiony place to sleep. The vet offered to do a necropsy but I declined. My husband is going to have a ceremony with Sebastian tonight. DH kindly took care of the body before anyone else could see her that way.
