    MOVED: Rory sneezing-under the weather

So I posted a question last evening about Rory's excessive sneezing since saturday morning. NicoleS was nice enough to reply but that section of the forum just dosnt get as much traffic as this area and I was hoping I could get some more feedback.
Some of you know that Rory is a bundle of energy and never slows down. So you can imagine that I was a littel worried when I got hoem last night and she didnt even get off the couch to greet me. My husband who gets home two hours prior to myself said she had eaten and gone potty (both kinds) when he got home but then retreated back to the couch which is very far from the norm. Again she was full of sneeziess and these internal huffs that come in fits. Her eyes were a lil red accompanied by some droopiness and she defintly blows out white boogeeys....all over my pillows! This morning I put her in sweater, it has been raining all week and this is the first day it was nice but she didnt seem up to it which again if far from the normal with my lil A.D.D puppy, ha ha!
My mother suggested she might have a bur or foxtail in her nose, my husband swears she is just under the weather and I just dont know. Please......any insight?

I don't think it sounds like a foxtail since she isn't snorting or sneezing consistently and there's no bleeding, right?  It does sound like something's going on though.  Has she been around any other dogs where she might've contracted kennel cough?  Have you, or can you, take her temperature?  It'd probably give you a pretty good idea if she's got a bug going on.  Regardless, I'd keep an eye on her and if she doesn't perk up, I'd get in for a vet check-up.

Could it be an allergic reaction? My terrier mix had a sneezing fit one time and the vet suggested a very small dose of Benadryl. You might call your vet, but it seems like these days they always want you to bring them in.

The vet cant get her in until Thursday at noon and we are on the list incase anyone cancels. Damn, I was just telling my sister that i hadnt had any health problems with Rory and I was stoked, hopefully its no biggie
