    New Gotta Have!

[linkhttp://www.elitek9.com/Kongs/index.htm]The Blue Kong![/link] Why has this been kept a super-secret? They don't even have it on their company web page and most of the places that sell it online are like veterinary and research lab supply companies. What, the rest of our dogs don't get a super strong x-rayable Kong? What's up with that?

Anyway, 2 King sized and 2 X-large sized Kongs are so on my list for payday! Even if I have to pretend I'm an animal shelter to get them!

is the only difference is that it is blue?

i did see a glo-kong on that page (hadnt seen one before), that is what i need for fetch after dark! [:D]

They are 25% stronger than the "commercially sold" Kongs and are also made of a special kind of rubber that shows up in X-rays, in case any of the Kong is ingested. My guys have black Kongs, but they are starting to get shredded. The Blue is stronger than that and I have got to think indestructible! So why the hush-hush about it?

Is it actually made by the same company?  I really think it may be a "knock off."  The name of that treat ball by Kong(the real one) is "Stuff-a-Ball" and on the site you linked, it is called "Haveaball."  Something about the packaging is different too.  The Kong logo is a bit different.  I'm not saying for sure that it is, but something is just not quite right about it to me.  Plus, why would they not list it on their products page?

it doesnt make sense that they wouldnt advertise them on their web site. i didnt see a shopping cart or anything on the link you posted. do they sell them on the site at all?

I would also worry about the "radiopaque rubber."  I don't see how the rubber itself could be x-rayable, so I really think they must have added something to it so that it can be seen.  Read this link about radiopaquehttp://www.mayoclinic.com/health/drug-information/DR202997
Although, I could be wrong, so someone correct me if I am!  Just use caution when buying this product.  It is quite questionable to me.  I don't think I would buy it.

It's advertised on more than just that one site though, and it's always with the other Kongs. It's on veterinary and animal shelter suppy sites as well. I don't think it's a knock off. Or if it is, someone is pulling the wool over a lot of peoples' eyes. Google "blue kong" and see how many sites come up.
