    stolen puppy

This occurred last week, if you are in the area and might have an idea, please contact the folks involved.
On Thursday 10/5 at 6:00 pm the Belgian Sheepdog puppy we placed in Charlotte, North Carolina was stolen.  She was taken from the Circle K Gas Station on Sharon Amity Road.  We have the surveillance tape from the gas station and the police are reviewing it and a private investigator has been hired, but so far they have not been able to determine the identity of her
abductor.  The woman who took her is in her 40's-50's and was driving a red Isuzu or Jeep Cherokee SUV.    The puppy is a solid black 3-1/2  month old Belgian Sheepdog female named "Indy".  She was not wearing a collar at the time of her abduction.  She is approximately 14 inches tall at her shoulder and 25 pounds, *** ears, pointy nose, fluffy coat.   A reward is offered for information leading to her return.  If anyone knows anything about her
abduction or whereabouts please contact her owner Amy Weinstock at (704) 904-5734 or (704) 497-0764 or contact the Charlotte Police Department.  If you wish to remain anonymous you can contact her breeders Bonnie Leonard in Wisconsin at (920) 987-5940 or Sharon Johnson in Nebraska at (402) 426-7118
or (402) 351-3814. Indy's story and picture can be seen on the WCNC TV news

    Permission to forward?

(Small world note:  I used to live not too far from Sharon Amity.)

ETA:  duh, now I see there is permission.  I forwarded it to my parents who live in the greater Charlotte area.
