You know, I've made 3 threads on humane society dogs... and how I might get one, .. and they end getting taken! But, I get have to share with you guys! [

Meet Shavo, 8 month old Kuvasv. (which is my third favourite breed)

I haven't met him, and Im not really sure how I will meet him, since I work tomorrow.. but um.. knowing the humane society, puppies get adopted right away. I don't even know if he's there! Lol He should be there, though. They usually clear the site if the dogs are adopted. But he might be on hold. I think I'll get my grandmother to go and put him on hold for me tomorrow since it's pretty hard for me to go and see him before he'll get adopted. And my check doesnt come for another two weeks. (Ive only worked for three days so I havent gotten my paycheck yet. [8D] I've got to be careful about getting all excited though, since the last three dogs ended up being adopted or have dog agression issues. [

I hope you have researched the breed a LOT....Kuvaszok are not easy dogs. I'd say the same for just about any LGD aside from the pyr perhaps. I'd find out as much about this dogs history and sociliazation as possible. Good Luck to you!

Wow. Now I have LGD puppyitis. That's a tough age, but I see you're a "big dog" person so I assume you are ready-freddy for life with a flock guardian!

Oh dear, now I have to go get soaking wet 150 pound Maremma hugs. I remember when he was just a furball . . .and Lulu was just that age when I brought her home.
