What makes him my "bed buddy"?

• What makes him my "bed buddy"? alieliza Posted : 10/5/2006 5:57:44 PM For those of you who don't know our situation... let me explain it...   Tyson is my boyfriend's dog, although I like to consider him "our dog".  My boyfriend and I are moving in together with the process (still) not complete yet.  Tyson travels back and forth from upstate NY to NYC with bf on the weekends (usually 3 days).  Sometimes I go up there, to visit them instead.  Tyson and bf have a very close relationship.   So, my question is....   When I am with them, no matter where we are (upstate, or our apartment in the city), whenever I go to bed, Tyson comes with me.  No matter what.  Its like, if I go to bed, he does too.  And, on top of it, he sleeps incredibly close to me.     Maybe there is no explanation for this, but I just thought it was funny. • boneyjean Posted : 10/5/2006 9:40:15 PM So Harley is suppossed to be DH's dog even though we got him together.  I didn't want a dog when we got him and I try to tell DH now that he got Harley for me so I would understand the joys of having a dog or dogs....  But when I get home both dogs are SO excited to see me and I always get a royal doggie greeting and lots of whining if I don't acknowledge them both right away.  There are times Harley waits for my husbands permission before he will jump on the couch even if I am pretty much begging him to, but when it is time to go to bed, he is by my side whether DH likes it or not.  I don't get it either but he is my favorite cuddler and I must be his too! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. So he loves and cares for you and is being a god dog for your BF by protecting you when he's not around - it's probably doesn't hurt that he gets to be in the bed either!
