    Buck climbed a ladder!

So I was in attic yesterday looking for a software cd. Our attic has one of those folding steep ladders made of wood, you know the kind. Well, I go up the stairs and Buck is at the bottom whining because I guess he wants to be where I am. He goes to my fiancee and whines to him, who promptly tells him to wait a minute I'll be back. I guess that wasn't a good answer to Buck because he came back and started climbing the ladder! He got all the way into the attic! For one I didn't know dogs climbed ladders and two he isn't even 6 months old, he is just that bold! He didn't know how to get down so I had to carry him, but that was just really funny.

Way back in the 70's we were visiting friends for the weekend and our sleeping space was in their loft (only a ladder to get up there).  Our dog Specs would climb the ladder each time we went up and he would always have to be carried down.  It was fun for a while but got really old as the weekend wore on..............

My blind English Springer Spaniel used to love to follow the kids up the ladder and go down the slides at the park.  The higher the ladder, the happier he was, because he loved the rush of sliding down.  We figured the height issue didn't bother him because he was always so poorly sighted from birth on and had not depth perception.  In any event, climbing and sliding were the high points of his day....And lots of dogs are trained to similar things for agility-maybe you can build something neat on this skill of climbing-something you guys can do together for fun and exercise

awww how sweet, I could just imagine the look on his face.
I had a german Sheperd once who climbed up on the slide , then would walk down. That was a loooong time ago.
