    Huh what do you mean??
    • Gold Top Dog
I'm sorry, but no.  There are enough mixed-breed dogs in shelters already that need homes, and I don't see the point in going through the risks that whelping holds for your bitch for mixed breed puppies.

I'd also be careful in future about where your bitch stays when she's in heat.  Sorry if that's harsh, but it's now your bitch who has to go through a termination, or the risks of giving birth, depending on what you decide.  Not worth it for an unplanned, unprepared-for breeding.

Yes i think i will have the pups aborted its the best thing for her

(I have to agree with Benedict) I would abort the litter and have the female spayed.

    WTF? Snowball is that you??
    • Gold Top Dog
well, that was pretty careless and careless is not a good thing when it comes to pets.  the female should always be the larger of the two and in this case the puppies could kill her.  what in the world was your mom thinking?  that being said get that dog aborted and spayed.  with owning a pet come responsibility... none of which was shown here by the owner of the maltese or the westie...

With all the conflits Snowball has caused I'm afrade that we might have mistaken this maltese owner with the wrog person.  On the other hand who knows.  Eather way, from previous post, this one sounds so much more calm then snowball and I feel more willing to answer this one's questions.  I belive Jamie already did an IP check.  (Why do I feel like I'm reading a plot similar to the book "Animal Farm" )

Anyway, I agree.  There is already an over population of mixed dogs, getting a spay at this point would be the best for her.  There is a drug, similar to the day after pill for humans, that can be used to abort the pregnecy without the need to spay but I would stay away from that as it has caused a few deaths in some dogs, not worth the risk.

I know how hard it is anytime you have to leave a pet at the vets.  I just wanted to wish you and her to a speedy recovery.  Just remember this is what is best for her and for everyone.
