Gypsy has a new friend! His name is Whistler and he is a 7YO Viszla. They met today (new nieghbors) and hit it right off. The neighbors invited me to see their back yard so the dogs could play. They casually mentioned that the previous owners had installed two ponds on the property. Wellll, guess who decided the ponds (filled with algae
) were the neatest new play areas? Yep, you guessed it, my lovely, sparkling clean WHITE and red Am Staff! She came home tired and FILTHY. I bathed her at 9 a.m. and gave her a second bath at 6 p.m. This is a girl who normally avoids water. She waded right in while Whistler stood on the bank of the pond and egged her on! He got damp; she was SOAKED.
To top it all off, DH had just cleaned the bathrooms, so I had to clean the front one again. Oh well, the new neighbors seem nice!
