Where does your dog sleep?

Presley sleeps in her crate durring the day (while we are at work) and she starts the night off with us in bed, either wedged between us with the covers pulled up to her front legs and her head on the ;pillow (just like a little person) or "spooning" wihtmy wife - seh loves to snuggle. I move her to her bed in the corner of the room when I shut the tv off and got to bed. She wakes up at least 2 or 3 times and goes to my wifes side to see if it is time for her to come back up though - when my wife gets up she gets to come back up and sleep with me for another 30 minutes or so.

Durring the day, when we are home, she has a dog bed and a pillow she sleeps on...

My bed is Dodger's bed, he's in whether or not I am.  Same goes with the chair, he gets my chair and I get to sit on his dog bed on the floor.  He"needs" to be comfortable.[:)]

During the day, Conrad is crated in the bedroom and, according to the webcam, Marlowe is on his favorite fake-fur couch cushion in the TV room. At night, Conrad sleeps in Marlowe's crate (it's smaller and cozier) by choice, and sometimes by the side of the bed on the floor. Marlowe either is on his favorite chair in the TV room or on the futon in the living room. They'd both be quite happy to sleep in our bed with us, but my husband has a broken ankle right now, so that's out.

During the day, he prefers to be out and sleeps on his bed on the patio, or behind some trees in the mud next to the house.  He's dug a nice rut there so he fits nicely.

At night, he sleeps on his bed in the family room.  His bed is my old twin mattress and he loves it!  Crate is next to his bed and he can go in and out if he wants, but since having his own mattress there has been not much crate going lately!  He keeps his toys and bones in there.

During the day - in their crates if I'm at work. During the day on the weekends - at my feet, or on the furniture - wherever they like. June likes to find a sunny spot to sun-bathe and sleep.

    During the night:

Zippy - small cuddly bed next to my side of the bed.

Nick - crate next to my side of the bed.

June - living room couch, or on the floor or dog bed in our bedroom.

Ginger - on any # of dog beds in our bedroom.

Bree - either in an open crate in our bedroom, or under our bed with her secret stash of socks and partially chewed junk mail (with the tip of her tail poking out).

During the day Gingerbread sleeps either under the computer desk (where he is now) or on the couch. At night he sleeps on my bed... usually either on my pillow or curled up between my husband and I.

In the daytime Cinnabun either sleeps in his puppy area (on the floor or in his duckie bed) or on the linoleum foyer when he's out of the puppy area. At night he's still sleeping in his crate until he's reliably potty trained and big enough to jump on/off the bed.

During the day, Charlie is either in his crate or on the couch.  At night he sleeps with DH and I, either under the covers or with his head on my pillow...I love it!![:D]

This thread reminds me of how my dogs took care of me when my first husband died. Rufus - now with wings - took to sleeping next to me on his side with his head on the pillow, just in case I missed dad, I am sure. While Caitlyn took care of my core, curling up against my belly........Both making sure mom was safe, warm, and loved.....and boy did I thank God for them every night.
Now they all sleep -- all three -- along the side of my bed on the floor. Sometimes one joins me and my new husband....but mostly they feel like my heart is safe....but they need to still protect.

Tango sleeps in my room, wherever she wants. Usually half the night on my bed, ad then half the night on hers. Lately she's been spending some of the night in her crate though but I think that's just because it's warmer in there than on her own bed.

During the day...pretty much anywhere...at the moment she is sleeping on my pillow, I'm very shocked she can actually jump on my bed on her own.

At night; in her crate on my bed or she sleeps on my bed with me and jumps on the ground in the middle of the night.

usually within 5 feet of me. at the moment berserker is sleeping on the rug right behind my chair. if i'm sitting on the couch he sleeps on it or under my feet, in the kitchen he will lay on a rug, etc..he will even lay down outside the bathroom door while im in the shower. at night he always sleeps on the bed, under the covers, he curls up behind my knees at night and towards morning he will curl up by my stomach. both me and my dog would suffer seperation anxiety if he were crated at night.
