    That darned rule of 3's!

So Nonnie busted her toe nail last week...this weekend Sandy stared coughing...lol...she's got a mild (thankfully) case of KC...and yesterday Ellie had the NASTIEST eye I'd ever seen lol. swollen conjunctiva and thick whitish discharge...there we go...cycle complete!

Sandy doesn't need much aside from a kids dose of cough med when she sleeps...still eating and playful as all get out.

Ellie started yesterday on a regimen of cleaning her eye with saline and antibiotic ointment and looks markedly better today, just a hint of a squint, her conjun. are back to a nice light pink instead of angry red...so a few more days should do it.

Nonnie's toe looks great...she's getting around well and only picks that foot up when in the long grass...

They keep ya on your toes eh?

Glad to hear everyone is better and I know what you mean about the rule of 3's.

Last week my boss went through it and she was having a hard time. Since she had to put her kitten down Wednesday, her great dane had hives Friday and Monday her guinea pig lost her litter of babies.

    Rules of 3's sucks.

Glad to hear everyone is better now....

The rule of threes is something I believe 100%!

Three cats died here within the span of a month and a half.  One was a stray that lost his life to a pack of dogs.  The noise of it woke me up, so I was able to run outside and scare them away (which was stupid and dangerous for me).  That poor cat was paralyzed from the waist down ... [:(] ... it kept hissing at me, so I left it alone.  By the sunrise, it had died.

Two of my cats died within a few weeks of this event.  One died from kidney failure and the other from old age. [:(]

Just remember - that means you're owed some good luck now - hopefully that will also come in a three [:)]

Ahhh!  Is that how it's meant to work?

The good news Gina, is that if the rule is correct - you're all done for awhile!

Oh its happened to me more times than I can count. A few months ago:

    I crashed my car
I bought a new car with too many tickets to count and had to have my money refunded
The other car I was supposed to buy was too messed up to last long

But I was owed some good luck so things are going good now [:)]

I moved into a huge new house
Im driving a car to work that is almost mine (and brand new!)
And Im looking for my first kitten

This is so weird.  I was just bemoaning our last rule-of-three blow:  Doug the Dog broke a rib and is at the vet for observation (and lots of attention, the big suck-up!).  Crate rest for him for a few days - and we are down one dog again.  Last week Cord did some weird thing to his toe and had to rest a couple days.  And unrelated to dog stuff, my laptop's LCD display went all weird the night before last - I've been meaning to call Apple because I could tell something wasn't right (OK, the white line down the middle was a subtle clue), but I wanted to back it up first (yes, I'm the worst at backing up).  So of course before I could do that, kablooey.  I hope it isn't the motherboard.  Patrick (my hubby and resident geek) thinks he can recover my data before we send it - that means the only tragedy would be running my business and my US Border Collie Club responsibilities without my "good" computer for a few weeks.

The good news is that the dogs alternated getting hurt and I do have a spare computer to work on.  Trying to look on the bright side!!

I hope this means things will look up starting next week - my puppy is coming home in eight days - woooooooeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
