    Weimaraner rescue Quilt Square

So I volunteered to make a quilt square for next years weim rescue quilt. It's raffled off at the national specialty in late spring/early summer. This year theme was nursery weims and fairy tails.  I chose to do little red riding hood(or weimyhood).

I'm pretty pleased with myself considering I don't really sew. It took me a month and a half and I did it all by hand.  And my hands suffered the fate of a sharp needle more than once.

    Thought I'd share:

Awww how adorable!!!  You did a FABULOUS job!! even with craft/sewing experience I dont know that I could have planned tht out and assembled it well enough to make something even close to that!  And how nice to do it for a quilt to raffle! [:)]

Thanks Nicole. Strangely enough I found it very similar to watercolor painting. You have to do a lot of planning with that....so that definitely helped me! I just can't wait to see it all put together with everyone elses!  I'll be sure to post a pic of it when its all done!

That is precious!  I do sew, but never done quilt work.  I don't think I could have been so original, either.  Good job!
