• Weimaraner rescue Quilt Square ewin0210 Posted : 9/24/2006 7:12:16 PM So I volunteered to make a quilt square for next years weim rescue quilt. It's raffled off at the national specialty in late spring/early summer. This year theme was nursery weims and fairy tails.  I chose to do little red riding hood(or weimyhood).  I'm pretty pleased with myself considering I don't really sew. It took me a month and a half and I did it all by hand.  And my hands suffered the fate of a sharp needle more than once.    Thought I'd share:   Closeups:     Thanks for looking! • ewin0210 Posted : 9/24/2006 7:41:51 PM Thanks Nicole. Strangely enough I found it very similar to watercolor painting. You have to do a lot of planning with that....so that definitely helped me!
