    Hey Mau

When the vet pushed on Kaylas belly it didnt seem to effect her either... nor did she vomit.  So just in case I recommend the blood work.  Keep us posted

Good -- those particular symptoms can be so many things -- I'm sure he will test for pyometra.  But it kinda begins to sound like this dog doesn't deal well with estrus cycles IF it's nothing 'dire' -- and if so that's THE best reason (aside from the obvious health benefits and longevity benefits) to spay.

the vet told me that since her period just ended pyrometra will not be shown in the blood work, so in about 3 weeks I have to check her out again.

I don't have any advice or thoughts on the matter.  But I just wanted to let you know that we have all fingers and paw crossed up here in Canada that all goes well for you and your girl.  Sending Healthy Pup Vibes.

yup Kaylas one and ONLY symptom was not eating.  The vet said that there are usually more clear signs but not always.  I hope all goes well with the blood work.

    update

well today was the day that she really didn't eat, since I didn't make her any beef or give her some of our plate... Since I came back from the vet with the prescribe food, she didn't touch it, until about 10 min ago my girl hand feed her, she didn't force her just took the food in her hand and she came for, but if you put her plate down she won't eat it... she ate half, the prescribe food smells like tuna, but as far as the taste, it doesn't taste anything  is just simple (yes I tasted it to see if it would be atractive for her, since she have been feed with more stronger taste food) what do you guys think??

    thanks

All you can do is wait until the blood work is done to know if its due to a probem or if shes just being spoiled.  I have to say Im worried about her, what your doing is all you can for right now tho.

    Hows her energy level?

    Hows her energy level?

Well, yesterday because of the injection of vitamin B complex she was laying down all afternoon, today I had to hand feed her again, she wouldn't eat from the plate, and she is very hyper, I'm eating breakfast right now and she is running around the house with her toy.....

one question I forgot to ask, the vet told me that I had to do all this radiology test.... to check her instestines and stuff...... should I ok that or just do the blood work for now and if nothing comes up do the radioligy test??

From what I have read on here and the little bit of research I did on pancreatitis as speculated, I wouldnt try to coax her into eating.  If the problem is pancreatitis eating is not good for her.  She will not die of starvation in a couple of days.  The vet seems to think there is enough reason to worry and not just that she is being picky.  Wait for the bloodwork and go from there.  If she is being picky (and we all hope she is) she will eat when she gets hungry enough.  No dog ever has starved themselves to death because they didnt like thier food.  They may get a little skinnier but thats about it.  So leave her food down so she can eat if she wants but dont force her.

Still have our fingers and paws crossed hoping all is well!

thats the thing, she goes to her plate like telling me I'm hungry, and I lift it up and she has her ears up like happy waiting for her delicious meal, then after I put it down and she sniff the diet prescribe from the vet, she put her ears down and won't eat it, then I just lift the food with the finger and she comes and take it off, I don't force her, but if I leave it in the plate she won't touch it... and in the whole process she eats it with her ears down, like, "oh man, this is terrible, but I'm hungry"

I guess I wont feed her again just to make sure..... thanks for the advice!

If you trust your vet I would go through with the radiology.  He is probably looking for obstructions.

then I just lift the food with the finger and she comes and take it off, I don't force her, but if I leave it in the plate she won't touch it...

Either way this isnt good.  She may very well be hungry but at the last minute remembering that this will hurt her tummy.  But taking it off of your finger may just be too much for her to refuse.  On the other hand if she is being picky you may be setting yourself up for many many mealtimes where you have to feed your dog by hand.  Remember that a healthy dog will not starve themselves.  The will eat what is available when they get hungry enough.  Also a dog will often eat better if its food is not always readily available.  If everything comes back ok take her food up 15 minutes after you put it down.  DO NOT offer anyting better.  Dogs are better at the waiting game than we are.  Next mealtime do the same thing.  Put her food down and if she doesnt eat in 15 minutes take it back up.

Mau, is she drinking?  How are her stools looking?  I don't think any of us can answer your question about what tests you should do. Your Vet is the best judge of that.  Continued best wishes for your little girl.

Her poop.  You should keep an eye on her bowel movements to ensure that she's not having any diahrea or blood in her poop.
