    Newbie from Europe!

    Hi!

We- my Gordon Setter, in a few weeks a Gordon Setter puppy, and I- live in Europe. My Gordon is now 3 yrs. old and my second Gordon will be born in the next few days. (I can tell you, I was never so excited before!! [:D]) Because we spend a lot of time in the USA (holidays or visiting our family) I'd like to improve my English. So I hope, you'll forgive me some mistakes in grammar or spelling.

Now I'm keen on reading all your post...

Send you al lot of greetings from Europe!!

Welcome!  This is a great place to work on your English (but it does look good to me!)  and share knowledge about dogs.  Speaking of sharing, we'd love to see doggie pictures!

Welcome. I would love to know more about your G-setter as I have thought about getting one of these dogs. Do they need a lot of exercise and are they noisy. I have a cocker spaniel and he is a great dog but would like a little friend for him.

Welcome Belfleur. Where are you from? Your English is very good. I love Gordon Setters. When I was a child we owned two Gordon Setters. My Father loved to hunt pheasants and quail. I loved to watch the dogs in the fields pointing and retrieving. I now own poodles. One is red like an Irish setter and one is black and red like a Gordon.

    Good Morning (in Europe)!

Thank you all, for those welcome greetings!! We all live at the border to France, in Germany and I forgot, I'm 25 yrs. old.

This is a picture of my Gordon running across a field, with a Golden Retriever. Wherever the ball was, finally they brought it back:

I have a lot of pictures on my PC, but first of all they need to be resized before I can show them to you.

@ pc: Gordons are great, but, you need to know, that these are hunting dogs, and the blood of the wonderful Bloodhound can be found in the Gordon as well- so they have a very good nose- and they find everything. [:D]

And most important: They do need al lot of exercise!!
