He ate some green fuzz - will he be okay?

My 6 month old Eli found a toy that once belonged to my cat.  It was a little worm with a green head, kind of like the material that's on a tennis ball.  Before I could get it away from him he pulled some of the green fuzzy stuff off and swallowed it.  Will he be okay?  I probably worry too much but he's small, only 7 pounds.

Don't worry... "this too shall pass...".

Daisy is 4 months old and 5 lbs. She eats stuff like that all of the time. She pulls off all of the furr on her stuffed animals and eats it. It always passes & she has not gotten sick.

Thanks for the reassurance.  By the way, what kind of dog is Daisy?

Mine have passed everything from the funny - soccer ball pieces, foam from the cushions, fluff from stuffed animals ... to the scary - rope toys.  (They don't get those anymore...)

It's scary the first couple times they do it though... The worst was that rope toy.  *shiver*

Dogs eat the darndest things, don't they? Unless it's toxic or has sharp raggedy edges(like cooked bones...a nono) I wouldn't be concerned. Like everybody says
"What goes in must come out."

the fluff that you would want to be concerned about is the filling inside of stuffed animals, if eaten in large amounts it can cause obstruction in the digestive tract.
