If she's not annoying me by biting it and making it squeak, then she's usually fast asleep. She just ate so she's SPRAWLED out on her side, passed out. • alieliza Posted : 8/29/2006 8:53:29 PM Well, Tyson stands on his hind legs, and puts his front legs on my lap, then proceeds to lick my face, stare at me, etc.  Obviously he can't really fit in my lap.... Its really funny....   You know, as a side note to this, (and I know Cesar is no good) but I once saw on the dog whisperer that "standing" in your lap like that is dominant behavior, and shouldn't be allowed.  He stated that it was not love, simply the dog trying to be in charge. Is there truth in this? • Jan Posted : 8/30/2006 12:47:34 AM Yes, my dog does...and since she weighs a hundred pounds, this is not nearly as cute as it sounds! I think a lot of it is that I tend to check e-mail shortly after getting home, and she thinks that when I get home, it should all be about playing with the dog. Although she accepts that Mommy must work to pay for the kibble, deep down, she really thinks I should be a stay at home Mom. The other thing she does is put her paw on the keyboard...repeatedly. I'm pretty sure she's not capable of typing, but it does make you wonder.
