    my OWN frosty paws

You'll have to excuse me if I've already posted this, between getting my mothers house ready to sell
and running up to the cottage and northern Michgan in general, (I can recommend the Sleeping Bear
Dunegrass Folk and Blues festival if anyone is a Michigander out there) I've been really busy.
Anyway, with two dogs and the cost of Frosty Paws, I've been making my own. I get low fat vanilla
yogurt and mix it (just by hand) with a  smushed up banana (quite ripe) and a nice scoop of peanut
butter and put it in the little cups you use in the bathroom? Or, I tried yogurt and applesauce and little
bits of dogs treats mixed in.  Also, I took those bones you buy with a filling in, they're usually white
and are filled with liver or peanut butter or beef? When they are empty, I put in some little treats with
a squirt of the stuff you put in kongs that comes from a spray can at each end, and then I freeze those.
They love their homemade summertime treats .

In spite of having his leg amputated, Boo has gained 10lbs since we got him!-he was  underweight, he
    looks so healthy now.

If you posted this before, I didn't see it. Thanks for the great tip! I've been wondering what Frosty Paws were. But this sounds like a great recipe! I'm going to try this for my boys this weekend. [:D]

I use plain yogurt and I do mine in blender.  For added treats and different flavors, you can add like a jar of baby food sweet potatoes or other fruit.  Oh, I also add honey to mine.  Start with 32 ounce plain vanilla, 3 bananas, 2 heaping tablespoons peanut butter and 2 tables spoons of honey, and then add other stuff like the applesauce, baby food, etc.  My girls love them but the old man does not care for them.  he would raterh have a spoon of real ice cream.

Speaking of Boo, I think you're way past due on some photos of him.  Hint, hint.....[:)]
