Hit and Run!!!

Today she is MUCH better,she has gotten alot of her energy back and her tail is wagging non stop.She is still a little sore and still cant run or jump up to put her paws on your leg but the improvement is still great!Her cuts are healing well and her appetite is good.The swelling has gone down some too.She is resting quietly in a large crate.Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.By the way she is the little white dog on the bottom row of my sig.If she had been any bigger she probably would not have been so lucky!

Lacey is so cute!  I am glad to hear that she is doing better.

I remember when my mom was fostering a little pregnant bitch we were all outside and Nana dashed outside to the patch of grass across the street and what do you know a van comes flying by and hits her!! God I was terrified of losing her and the pups, but luckily he only slightly clipped her back legs and she was whining a bit.
 
I ran down to his house and practically knocked his door down the tears streaming down my face and before he even opened up I was yelling "Do you know you f***ing hit my dog?!?!? Who the F** do you think you are not stopping?!?!?!" and teh guy panicked I think he truly had not realized he hit her and immediatly offered to go with us to a vet to check her out.
 
I hope little Lacy gets better, if you see her get worse dont hesitate to get to a vet!!

Poor girl! I now know exactly how you feel! atleast you knew where the guy was.It is allways a possibility that they didnt know they hit her but 2 of them? And the cars swerving around her.They didnt hit her and are under no obligation to stop but most people i know would have! I sure would!

OMG - poor Lacey!  Glad to hear she's better.  Barks & licks to a getting back to normal.

people seem to be more and more self absorbed. I find it astonishing that no cars would stop..

I will be HAPPY to show you how to ruin an engine in five minutes FLAT. If you find this guy/gal, just open the oil pan drain on his/her car.  A dry engine is a s SEIZED enigne very quickly! I am sooooooooooo glad Lacey is OK!
