    Sleeping arrangements? Need advice

Hi everyone! I have a question about sleeping arrangements. Here is my problem. When we got Bubbles, she slept on our bed for the first two nights. My husband got tired of having her sleep in between us. He decided to put her in my son's room on his bed. That has been working well for the past few weeks, but now Bubbles is showing signs that she wants to sleep back in our room. Should I buy a doggy bed and put it on the floor in our room?  What type of bed should I get? Should it be cedar or plain stuffing?

    Thank you.

Sally has her "Princess Bed" as DH and I call it.  It started out as one of those foam mattress type dog beds and then we bought a poofy pillow bed for a visiting dog who didn't like the bed, so we stacked the pillow bed onto the mattress bed to get it out of the way one day, and Sally laid down on it and has never looked back.  Sometimes she would rather be on it than anywhere else.

Should I train Bubbles to sleep on her bed? I do not want to crate her at night. She isn't like Shanarra who does not mind having a crate. Bubbles would rather be with her human pack.

IDK, Sally just laid on her bed without having to train her....

I've tried using a bed and a pillow as we would like Boomer to sleep on that instead of his crate but all he does when he sees either the bed or pillow is 'dig' at it with both his paws.  The way he does it, so hard and seeminly violently looks like he's trying to dig his way to China.

Sure, get a bed and put it in your room if you want. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. My dog was playing up at nights from time to time, but when I brought her bed into my room she became the most perfect angel at night. I never have any troubles with her. As long as your dog knows it's her bed, I don't hink you'll have any problems getting her to stay there without a crate. Just make sure you don't let her get away with sleeping on the bed if you don't want her there.
