How does your dog let you know they're hungry?

I have six shadows following me wherever I go.......

    Big smiles on that comment!!![:)][:)][:)][:)]

Madi is my shadow everywhere I go, but I love it.  It is so bad we have to walk around non-stop at the dog park so she won't just lie down.  She see's the other dogs will occasionally run after the young ones if they move too fast but for the most part she is always within 3 feet of me.  For instance... she is on the couch right next to me right now.  Poor thing she has a tummy ache, she is back on her liver medicine again.[&o]

Sorry everyone I love to hear about other shepherds, it is interesting to see if it is the breed or the kid.[8|]

My dogs have been taught that if it isn't in their bowl it isn't theirs.  I can walk off and leave my lunch on my desk and come back to find it untouched.

Dodger is the same way but that comes down to good training, not something he would naturally do because I am "alpha".  He is WAY to opportunistic for that.  [:)]

I went to a doggy play date when Dodger was 7 months old, the humans had a BBQ and Dodger maintained a down stay throughout dinner.  While the Beagle, Shih Tzu and Golden all stole food out of people's hands!  I was appalled.  Throughout the evening everyone swapped stories (it sounded like they were proud) of their dogs who would jump up on the kitchen counters, or the island and raid jars, groceries etc...  I just don't know how dog owners can live with that behaviour and actually want to announce it publically![:o]
