Secondly, I'm so glad to see such an active community. I've actually been looking for a community like this for several weeks now, and others I have found seem to be all but abandoned.
About my family: I'm married with three daughters, ages 8, almost 13 and 14.
We have three dogs: an 18 mo old lab/Greyhound mix named Sirius Black, a 2-year-old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix named Maggie, and a 2-year-old Chihuahua named Elizabeth.
We also have 8 cats! Kumal and Sangha (who are not brothers, but look exactly alike), Frodo (who is Sangha's brother), Cupcake and Crookshanks (who are Kumal's sister and brother), Precious (mother to Kumal, Cupcake and Crookshanks), Dumpling and Albus Dumbledore (an all-white cat who just showed up on our doorstep a few weeks ago, bones sticking out, and just made himself at home).
My oldest daughter has a corn snake named Bob, and my middle daughter has a hamster named Nutmeg. We're also planning to get a couple of lizards from a friend in a few weeks.
So that's us! One very big, but very happy family. [
