    Belgian Tervuren National Specialty

I am so excited.  David and I are off the National Specialty next Saturday.  For those who have not ever seen one, it is a dog show of only one breed.  There are events and activities through out the week.  It starts with herding, there will be agility, obedience, rally, tracking, sweepstakes and conformation.  We wont show in conformation this year for a really good reason.  Dess's breeder is the Judge.  So for political reasons, we will just support the national with volunteering and playing in other events.  For those who might be interested.  It is in Carlisle PA.  I have posted the link to the specialty website for information.  We typically have more than 300 tervs in attendance.

Arent they great?  I am always bugging Susan to show in herding.  She was very gracious and took an email tutorial and was the scribe for the WI national herding (I was the chair).  I absolutely moved right into her fan club.. Leigh is wonderful as well.  You might get a kick out of the photos on Pupart  (every pic is sorted by dog name or owner last name)

It was a great national.  David and I worked our fool heads off and had a great time.  We qualified in herding started with a 4th place.  Finished our rally novice title.  Got a rally lag on an untrained dog belonging to a friend.  Had my breeder as the judge.  Won three things in the raffle and won the centerpiece from the table at the banquet.  We got to sit with the judge.
