I'm so glad to be making this post, and especially so soon. We found Dolce!
He was hiding under a pile of debris in the neighbor's yard- he got through a hole in our fence that we weren't aware of (we just moved here).
We had actually been standing right by him for a long time and calling, but we decided to take our dog out. She had gone to that section of fence and gone crazy, so we asked our neighbors if we could take her to the other side. They let us and Kiera went right to the spot. He still didn't come out until i was laying on the ground and looking under. Even then his responce was an almost inaudible meow. But I heard him, and managed to coax him to come out.
We're all very very relieved! He was missing for about 13-14 hours, but as soon as he came back in the door he started acting as if nothing at all happened.
I really can't describe how relieved I am!
