    Is This Good?

Static has been out and seen the majority of the house. He has met the dogs and that went over fairly well. Bubbles learned that not even kittens want to play with her.

Trinity has also met Static. She will growl and hiss at him but has yet to physically attack him. She will watch him with interest and after a bit will go smell him. Then she will growl and hiss and then go away. If he gets too close she will hiss too. He does seem to be able to get closer to her without Trin vocally announcing her displeasure as his playtimes around her become more frequent. Is this a good sign that Trinity may be getting used to him? I do not want him to get hurt by her so I am being very very careful. The next cat will be Hayley who is calmer than Trinity, but is not around as much. This is why I chose to have Static meet Trin first. --Sara

I think it sounds good so far.  It can take time for cats to adjust to another in their space, but they generally will do so.  They may never be pals, but they will likely figure each other out.  Trinity is setting some ground rules, and that's OK, but if you see her get really agressive with him, you can hiss at her and let her know how unhappy that makes you.  I know it sounds silly, but they understand it as a warning, it is what it means when they make the sound and they will understand when you do it.

They might be startled, but they will get it!!
