Feline Pine?

    Feline Pine?

Hello. I was wondering what your views were on Feline Pine? Did your cats use it? Did they not want anything to do with it? Is it worth switching from a clay based litter to this one?

My cat used it, but didn't like it.  He definitely preferred the clay-base.  I ended up going back to the clay base.  I would use the feline pine if you have a problem with litter ending up all over your house.  Definitely less tracking with this product.

I made the mistake of buying some the other night.  Trixie hated it, so we went back to 100% Fresh Step.  Also, it does not clump, which is a pain after using clumping litter for so long.

It depends on you and your cat's/cats' needs, really ...

There was a post on another thread about this litter.  The poster seemed to like it.  I just bought Worlds Best Cat Litter and its all natural, safe for kittens, and is clumping and flushable.   We have been using it since friday and I do notice that my sons room does not smell as bad as with the clay litters.  Everyone has their preference and it depends on your needs.

One of my cats used it grudgingly--the other went outside of the litter box and ate and vomited up the litter.

We tried it once with my cats, they wanted nothing to do with it.
I tried with one of my fosters too (still a baby) to see if it was just something they weren't used to. But he didn't like it either.
I think it depends on the cat.

All of my parents cats use the feline pine.  I don't like it for allergy reasons but the cats seem to do well with it.   My dad does a combo of kitty litter and feline pine.  This way they get to keep their litter and not the smell.
