Sorry you guys, I normally lurk in this forum, but tonight I need to vent a bit. This evening I went to run a few errands, and check out a new dog training facility about 30 miles away, and about halfway through my errands my husband called asking me to come home ASAP. Our coming 2 year old gelding had run over the top of DH! My man has a stomped on shoulder(hoof prints on coat as proof), and a scraped up leg. DH admits it's his fault for not paying attention, and the horses have not been getting handled enough the last 2 weeks because of ice/snow/and mud, but he says the colt has to go! He even made several phone calls to let people know the horse is for sale. This colt is a homebred, and the best pedigree we have ever had. His potential as a cutter is great, but he is in deep doodoo now! All dogs are on notice to watch their "P's and Q's", the parrot is for sale, and he has also put a price on our good 4 year old filly! My DH does not deal well with adversity, can you guess? He won't see a doctor either! AARGH!
