I don't know.  I've always wondered about that myself.  I think Sylvia Browne is for real but she charges a fortune and a half.[:D] Since there's no way to tell the scammers, I don't think I'd pay very much. Maybe $10 tops.  That wouldn't get me very much, would it?

I don't know how much of this stuff I believe. I had one reading that I paid like $15 for. She didn't tell me anything great just made a lot of general statements. I have also had a few people just come up to me and tell me that they "have" to read me. It was a little weird but they told me more specific things and weren't looking for anything in return.

First, I have to say that it's spelled: Psychic, and Clairvoyant.
(can't help it, I'm just one of those writer/editor people [;)])

Second, I do think there are psychics. I'm one of them. Except it's not up to me to control it. I think that most of the people who claim to be psychic aren't. They just want your money.

My being psychic is limited to "it happens when it happens." For instance, lots of times when I'm driving I can see behind me or in my blind spot without looking at a mirror or turning around. I turn around and use my mirrors anway. Hehe. Also, when driving, I can tell which route to take. There is some kind of little thing that warns me of a road blockage or delay. Very useful. When on a trip I can always check in to see if I'm going to get there. If I can't see myself there, something is up and it's better put off to another day. I've never been wrong.

Sometimes I see and/or hear pets that have gone on following their masters, or hanging around the house of wherever they used to live. But if you asked me to "contact" your pet at the Bridge, I would not be able to do it. It doesn't work that way. They contact ME. I'm not in control. It's a blessing to see them, not a commodity I can sell.

There is a woman in Dryden that people call Crazy Barb.  Apparently she used to be really pretty when she was young but her brothers made a bad batch of Acid one time and tested it on her and she never went back to normal.  Now she wears a MooMoo all the time weighs about 350 and talks to anything and everything that will listen, or not.  French Fries, parking meters, people, flowers, whatever happens to be near.

Anyway, when my sister was 18, she met Barb downtown one day.  Barb detained her and put her hand on my sis's tummy while she sadly shook her head and said,"You'll be ok.  But don't worry, good things happen in 3's."  My sister was totally weirded out.  Later she found out she was pregnant.    A few weeks later she lost that baby.  Now she has 3 great kids.

So ya I believe there is such thing, but I agree with Jean, I don't think the self proclaimed ones that sell thier gift, are real.

Well, as far as seeing/hearing the ones who passed away, I do, only because they don't want to be away from me. We let Hunter in and out of the house and car for three months after he passed away. He kept scratching at the door. It was pretty funny, letting the invisible dog in and out of the house!

Nika, the cocker, used to do what we called the Bark & Spin when she wanted in or out. It was actually a quite nasty little bark, a spin and then a GLARE! Really funny! After she died we all very clearly heard that very distinct bark at the door...and yah, there were were, letting the invisible dog in and out again.

They seem to hang around for about three months and then go onto the Bridge. I've felt their noses in the palm of my hand...

Stevie, the dog I have been closer to than any other, whined at me ever so sadly for three weeks after he died. It really worried me and made me sad. He has moved on, as far as I know.
