    Heat rash??

I have noticed everytime my daughter wakes up in the morning she is covered in a rash. She only gets this when she sleeps with no shirt. Now the bedding was changed and I vaccumed her bed just in case maybe their could be crumbs in her bed. (you never know, she's 3) And she still woke up with it this morning. It almost looks like hives. It goes away with 4-5 hours. And it never happens when she sleep with a shirt. Could it be a heat rash?

It sounds like heat rash my four year old gets like that sometimes. I've start using Gold Bond on her before bed. It been helping so far.

Angel no, if it were a heat rash, she would have it more often w/ a shirt on, did you change your detergent, are any of the other kids getting it too?

No one else is getting it, and I have been using the same soap for over a year. It does not look like bites. So I don't think fleas, or skeeters.

It could be heat rash if she sleeps very hot like my boy does.  Are the sheet and blanket very breathable or winter insulated?  Is she a little sweaty as she sleeps?  Gold Bond might help, or baby cornstarch.  Try Dreft laundry soap for her clothing too.  Is she getting a bubble bath before bed?  That irritates my daughter's skin like crazy.    Jules

My thought...is she sleeping in a crib or toddler bed with a plastic mattress?  If you have never slept on waterproof mattresses, they do tend to make you sweaty.  If so, my suggestion would be to either keep the shirt on her or get a couple cotton mattress pads which can be washed with the bedding.

She is in a single bed. The sheets are thin, because she does sweat alot. She is usually very sweaty when she wakes up. Thats why I thought heat rash. I really don't think it could be anything else. I took a pic of it and will bring it with me to the doc's on Saturday.

That's a  good idea, let us know what he says.
And give her some kisses from us.

    have you changed dryer sheets?

Actually I never even thought of that. I did change from Fleecy to Downey. And I have been using it more since I have been hanging the clothes on the line and I did her sheets last weeks again with it.

That is more than likely your culprit right there, dryer sheet allerigies are actually common.
Change back and re wash (bless your heart) and see if that fixes it.
